Running a little behind again...the holiday season has kept me busy in other ways!
But I've read two books recently--Orchards by Holly Thompson, which is a novel-in-verse about a young girl who visits family in Japan to help deal with a classmate's suicide, and Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs, a thriller about a young man who travels to an orphanage to learn secrets about his grandfather (and wow does he find secrets!). Two very different books...and I have to confess that I LOVED Miss Peregrine's! Such a unique book!
