Week Nine Book Eight--Bruiser

"Someday I want to wake up and be normal. Just for a little while. Or forever."

So says Brewster, or Bruiser as he's known to his classmates. They've voted him Most Likely to Receive the Death Penalty because of his behavior and personality. But what they don't realize is there is a BIG reason why he is so distant and sulky.

Bronte and her brother Tennyson get to know the real Brewster, the one who can heal their physical and emotional pain. But when they embrace him for who he truly is, they realize how dangerous his "gift" really is.

I LOVED this book! I've been a big Neal Shusterman fan since reading The Dark Side of Nowhere and Unwind. And this book does NOT disappoint! Shusterman's writing is incredible--his dialogue is witty and creative. And how he comes up with these plots is beyond me!

Pick up Bruiser!!!
